Serving as Chief is never easy. The role comes with constant pressure, competing priorities, and decisions that often go unseen and unrecognized. During his tenure, Chief Salvatori navigated the department through changing times and evolving challenges, always maintaining a steady presence and a genuine care for the organization and its members.

Billy’s dedication to the department was evident in the time he gave, the responsibility he carried, and the personal sacrifices that come with leading a volunteer organization. He remained committed to keeping the department moving forward and ensuring that operations continued in service of the town we protect.

As he steps away from the role of Chief, we thank him for answering the call to lead and for the years he devoted to the department. We wish him the best in the next chapter and appreciate the service he has given.
