A working fire assignment was requested by 58 Car-1, along with additional units to cover the firehouse. Thanks to the quick actions of SRPD using dry chemical extinguishers, the fire was knocked down shortly after FD arrival. All residents had safely evacuated before crews arrived. Firefighters checked for any extension—none was found—and ventilated the home. The scene was turned over to Saddle River Fire Prevention. No injuries were reported.
